Exploring the Enchanting Mackinac Island

Hello, everyone! We were in Michigan, specifically at the KOA Journey in Mackinaw City. Today, we're heading over to Mackinac Island. We've already bought our tickets at the KOA, which is super convenient. The tickets were $34 each, and they also include a shuttle service to and from the island, which is great because we don't have to worry about parking our big truck. We're excited for the day ahead and can't wait to see what the island has in store for us.

Our shuttle ride to the island was quick, and we learned some interesting facts about the famous Mackinac Bridge, which we passed on our way. It's amazing to think about the engineering marvels that went into building such a structure.

Upon arriving at the island, we decided to take the Mackinac carriage tour, which is an hour and 45 minutes long. Our guide, Patty, introduced us to the island's rich history and pointed out notable landmarks, like the DS Market and the Grand Hotel. It was a fun and informative way to explore the island at a leisurely pace.

Overall, our visit to Mackinac Island was a delightful experience, and we're looking forward to exploring more of what this beautiful place has to offer.
