It’s Been a while…

It's been a while since my last blog but, in the words of the young folks, life has been lifing!!!

Many of you know that October and November were filled with medical appointments, meet-ups, and family time. One of the things we have realized during our 19 months as full-time RV'ers is that you have to be flexible and able to shift at a moment's notice.

If our schedule had been too rigid, we would not have been able to get the needed medical procedures done. Our takeaway from all of this is that things can happen to any of us, and it wouldn't have mattered whether we were in a sticks and bricks or a camper...cause 'Life Be Lifing.'

There were some very special events for us during our travel hiatus. We got to have a meet-up at Raleigh Oaks while we were there with several of our subscribers. That weekend was such a fun time.

Then a few weeks later, we celebrated our 65th birthdays with another group of our friends and subscribers at the Camping World Racing Resort. We enjoyed a delicious meal at Brickyard Grill in Concord, NC, then came back to the campground for a campfire, good conversation, and fun time.

On December 2, we finally left North Carolina and started our trek south.

In our recent videos, you see that our first stop was Savannah Lakes RV Resort. From there, our stops were Green Cove Springs, FL to process our domicile paperwork; Tallahassee, FL where we visited my cousin and attended a great concert; a COE park near Bainbridge, GA; Panama City, FL for Christmas; and back to 4-County RV Park and Campground in Danville, GA for an amazing New Year's celebration with our RV-ing Georgia friends.

We are blessed to have so many amazing people and wonderful opportunities in our lives.

Even with the obstacles and distractions that sometimes complicate things, we still find that this lifestyle works for us. We don't know what each day will bring—none of us do—but we must always remember that when these obstacles come, and they will, we can put our faith and trust in God who will always be with us!
